As time goes on, and I endure more and more days in my current job, I start to long for August to arrive so I can enroll in C.N.A. courses. At least with that, I can become a C.N.A. at the local hospital while I get my R.N. license, theeeeen, it's go time!
Yesterday was my sweet hubby's birthday! Unfortunately, he had to work late, and we had to go back to the old house and finish cleaning it out. But we had a nice evening together. I took him to dinner at a nice steakhouse in Chesapeake, we spent some lovely time together in the new house by ourselves for a while, and then our housemates and friends and the two of us had a little shindig late last night. Overall, he says he had a good birthday, and that's all that counts! He wouldn't let me buy him any presents though, until today when he asked for a new firelight to mount in the dash of his car. (For those of you who don't know, he's a firefighter.)
We finished cleaning out the old house today, and moving the last of our crap in. I've been enjoying the cleanliness and organization of our new bedroom until today when I came home from work, and it appeared WW3 had erupted on the floor. I worked from 845 a.m. to about 330 p.m. today, then worked with Chad all night long at the old house, then just to come home at 1000 and clean here. We're both exhausted, only to do more tomorrow! He's got a faux softball game tomorrow with the fire station team; we're psyched about that.
Alright, I'm so tired, so I'm going to sleep after my buddy lets me off of IM. Sweet dreams...
